From the latest e-mail, some excerpts:
As you may or may not be aware, we here in "Zappaland" are busily preparing for another exciting Zappa Plays Zappa tour filled with new material as well as some old favorites. Before we hit the road again we will be releasing the Zappa Plays Zappa DVD from the 06 inaugural tour. The DVD is available at last in stores now and will be available as a 2 disc set and as a special fan pack that includes both DVD discs plus audio (3) CDs of the same material. A single compilation audio CD will also be available separately. It's in stores now!
But most interestingly...
...as well as One Shot Deal, the Exciting and New (and Official #83) Frank Zappa release available on CD here for the first time anywhere - through the local public television pledge programs' call-in number. (It will also become available on the ZPZ Tour de Frank and eventually online at Barfko-Swill.)

Ok, I followed a tag or two to see if Zappa Plays Zappa is any good, but no comments there.
1. Why are they called that? Is Dweezil in the group? Are they good? Anyone seen 'em?
2. What is Frank's third album called - since it has some relevance to his fate, per the post i read?
3. Is Moon Unit attractive? Into her own music, or band? Did she or Dweezil change their names? I heard Moon Unit is only Moon now.
4. Santana's wife divorced him, why didn't Frank's wife divorce Frank?
1) Yes, Dweezil's in the band.
2) Lumpy Gravy. But I think you mean We're Only In It For The Money, the third album with the Mothers of Invention.
3) I don't know, and it's not germane to this blog.
4) That's a subject that is also not germane to this blog, and as such is not within my remit to discuss here.
Okay, my bad. I think "Moon" did do some singing once with Dweezil, though, on a song or two ...
Ever heard Adrian Belew's daughter sing on a tape of his, "oooh Daddy, Daddy?" ('mr. music head')
