Shadow Gallery announce European tour dates




American progressive metal band Shadow Gallery announces that they will be embarking on a first-ever European Tour in October 2010. After the successful release of their sixth studio album Digital Ghosts in November 2009 via InsideOut Music, the band is set to bring their epic progressive metal music to Europe for their first tour. Shadow Gallery will be supported by modern rock band Maplerun. The tour is set to launch with their headlining performance on October 2nd at ProgPower Europe in Baarlo, Netherlands and prior to the European tour, Shadow Gallery have also announced one of their rare home-area live performances on September 5th (Barley Creek Brewing Company - Tannersville, PA/USA). More shows to be announced soon.

Guitarist Gary Wehrkamp states, “Our fans in Europe have been eagerly waiting for the day that Shadow Gallery would take the stage and we are happy to finally be able to make this journey together.”

After the successful release of their sixth studio album Digital Ghosts in November 2009 via Century Media/InsideOutMusic, Shadow Gallery is set to bring their epic progressive rock music live to the stage after 18 years of being known as purely a studio band. With influences derived from acts such as Genesis, Rush, Queen, Yes, Pink Floyd or even Iron Maiden and Judas Priest, their music is presented in a contemporary shape and format that is set to also impress followers of bands like Dream Theater and Symphony X.
